Avant la trêve estivale, nous vous avons préparé un numéro double juin-septembre. Les années se succèdent et se ressemblent sur certains points, et parmi d'autres, le rendez-vous du congrès de la Sim est un événement incontournable de la profession. Cette année, il s'installe à Mulhouse pour quatre jours. Le programme des ateliers est dense et les visites de sites nombreuses, comme toujours. Vous pouvez consulter le programme en ligne sur notre site.
Le congrès vous donnera l'occasion de visiter l'usine Holcim d'Altkirch, qui a optimisé les performances de son préchauffeur pour stabiliser les conditions d'exploitation de son four et a amélioré aussi celles de ses broyeurs (cru + ciment). Dans les prochains numéros de cbpc, vous trouverez aussi les portraits de l'usine de chaux d'Istein, qui appartient au groupe allemand Heidelberg, et de l'usine de prémurs de Spurgin Leonhart à Colmar. Les portraits de sites industriels ne manquent pas non plus dans ce numéro, que ce soit le ciment (Polysius, Holcim, Vicat), le plâtre (Adler) ou le béton (Tarmac et Plattard). Ils ont pour objectif de vous faire découvrir des sites et les hommes et femmes qui les font vivre.
La publication des exposés présentés lors du congrès Sim de Limoges l'année dernière se poursuit également dans ce numéro avec l'article du CTP écrit en collaboration avec leurs voisins du BCRC sur les géopolymères obtenus à partir de réactifs commerciaux et de matières premières alternatives. La présentation de l'activité du groupe de travail Cbpc au sein de la Sim vous donnera de plus amples informations sur son fonctionnement. S'il vous intéresse, n'hésitez pas à nous contacter. Before the summer holidays, we are publishing a double issue June-September. Years are passing and some events like seasons come anew. The Sim congress is among others a must of our profession. This year, it will be taking place in Mulhouse over 4 days. The programme of the workshops is very rich and there will be plenty of plant visits as always. The full programme can be consulted online on our website.
The congress will give you the opportunity of visiting the Holcim cement plant in Altkirch. The plant has improved the performances of its preheater to stabilize the kiln operating conditions and it has also improved those of its raw meal + cement mills. In the forthcoming issues of Cbpc, you will also find the profiles of the Istein lime plant, which belongs to the German Group Heidelberg and the Spurgin Leonhart plant in Colmar. Profiles of industrial facilities do not lack either in this issue, whether it be cement (Polysius, Holcim, Vicat), gypsum (Adler) or concrete (Tarmac and Plattard). Profiles are aimed at presenting you these facilities and the staff, which makes them run.
Publication of the papers presented on the occasion of the Sim congress in Limoges last year is also continued in this issue with the CTP article, written in collaboration with their neighbours from the BCRC on geopolymers obtained from commercial reactives and alternative raw materials. Activities of the cbpc working group of the Sim are presented. Additional information on the organisation of the group is to be found in this article. If you are interested in it, do not hesitate to contact us. This group is a forum at your disposal, where information and technical news are exchanged.
